What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze claims referred by adjusters to determine suitability for SIU investigation
- Lead and coordinate complex fraud ring and vendor fraud investigations
- Design and maintain technical tools for fraud detection
- Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor for investigators
- Provide regular and ad-hoc SIU reporting, collaborating with management
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 7-10 years of experience handling complex claims across multiple disciplines
- 2-3 years of experience in Special Investigations Unit (SIU)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a state-specific Adjuster’s license if required
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in SIU, fraud, or criminal investigations
- Background in Commercial Claims
- Industry certifications such as CIFI, CIFA, CFE, or FCLS
- Knowledge of internal and external resources for investigations
- Proficiency in designing and delivering training programs
