This role involves investigating and analyzing complex, multi-discipline coverage and claims referred to the special investigation unit (SIU) for potential fraud. The responsibilities include handling a mix of attorney-represented and unrepresented claims and moderate to complex losses, conducting thorough investigations such as background searches, scene investigations, taking recorded statements, reviewing medical and property damage documentation, witness interviews, and social media searches. The investigator may conduct surveillance and scene reconstructions to substantiate fraud and support legal actions. The role also involves mentoring less experienced team members.
This is a field-based position in the Tampa Bay, Florida area. Candidates must be located in the Tampa Bay, FL county area and bilingual in Spanish.
Base salary ranges from $56,500 to $105,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Total compensation may include incentive pay such as bonuses or commissions.
