Job summary

Jovie Chicago is hiring creative and caring Role Models to join our sitter team across the Chicagoland area. You’ll set your own schedule, care for children from 6 weeks to 13 years, and create engaging activities while ensuring a safe, nurturing environment.

Competitive pay of $17–$21 per hour, flexible hours for full or part time, and dedicated management support. Growth opportunities, tuition reimbursement, and onboarding bonuses are included.

Qualifications

• At least some childcare experience is required.
• 18+ years old and eligible to work in the US.
• Background check is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Care for children ages 6 weeks to 13 years.
• Create fun crafts, games and imaginative play.
• Provide a safe, nurturing environment.
• Assist with light cleanup after meals and playtime.
• Engage with diverse families; no two days are the same.

Location

We provide care for families located all over the Chicagoland area. Whether you live in Central Chicago, or in the North or South Suburbs, we have positions for you!

What You’ll Be Doing

• Caring for children ages 6 weeks to 13 years (based on your experience)
• Creating fun, engaging activities—crafts, games, and imaginative play
• Ensuring a safe, nurturing environment
• Helping with light clean‑up after meals and playtime
• Working with a variety of families—no two days are the same!
