Job summary

Jovie is hiring passionate sitters in the Chicagoland area to care for children from infancy through early school age. This role offers part-time or full-time hours, with a supportive management team available 24/7 and growth opportunities toward guaranteed hours after an initial period.

Candidates should enjoy working with kids, be reliable and communicative, and have or be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• 18+ required.
• Prior childcare experience required.
• Two weekdays available Mon-Fri.
• Reliable transportation; suburban sitters may need a personal vehicle.
• Dependable, communicative and caring.

Responsibilities

• Care for children aged 6 weeks to 13 years (based on experience).
• Create fun activities — crafts, games, imaginative play.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing environment.
• Assist with light clean-up after meals and playtime.
• Collaborate with diverse families; no two days are the same.

Hiring part-time and full-time sitters for families living in:

Highland Park, Buffalo Grove, Deerfield, Fox Lake, Lake Forest, Grayslake, Vernon Hills, Gurnee, Lincolnshire, Mundelein, Glenview, Northbrook, Park Ridge, Winnetka, Wilmette, and Evanston.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Caring for children ages 6 weeks to 13 years (based on your experience)
• Creating fun, engaging activities — crafts, games, and imaginative play
• Ensuring a safe, nurturing environment
• Helping with light clean‑up after meals and playtime
• Working with a variety of families — no two days are the same!
