A leading national security company seeks experienced PC Technicians to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract. Peraton requires PC Technicians to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3. Positions are located at the SOCOM Headquarters at MacDill, AFB FL, and at the TSOC and Component locations in the United States and abroad.
The purpose of the SITEC 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, TSOCs, and deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services. These services include maintaining Network Operations (NetOps), systems and network infrastructure, end user and device support, configuration, change, license, and asset management, training, and Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs). The responsibilities are vital to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and end-users operating globally 24x7x365.
Under the direction of the Sr. PC Technician, the PC Technician must possess excellent problem-solving and customer service skills, along with extensive experience with desktop hardware, software applications, operating systems, and network connectivity. The role is customer service-oriented, proactive in problem resolution, and focused on efficient use of computing resources. The technician may also be required to provision and maintain mobile devices (NIPR, SIPR, and Gray). Responsibilities include providing system and network infrastructure services to operate, maintain, monitor, defend, and manage hardware, software, MAN routing and switching infrastructures, and network hardware and software.
