Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Systems Administrator to support SITEC-3 EOM at MacDill AFB, Florida. You will oversee Active Directory infrastructure, RBAC, and authentication services to ensure 24x7x365 mission continuity.

Responsibilities include designing RBAC permissions, maintaining domain controllers, implementing security measures, and providing Tier 3 support to USSOCOM partners across global operations.

Qualifications

• Experience: 9+ years with HS Diploma, 7+ years with AS/AA, 5+ years with BS/BA, or 3+ years with MS/MA.
• DoD 8570 IAT II Certification.
• DoW 8140 compliance (WR Code 451) – Systems Administrator.
• DoD TS/SCI clearance.
• Linux Red Hat experience is a plus.
• Shift and weekend work is required.
• MSCA and VCA certifications are desired.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage RBAC permissions in a multi-tenant environment.

• Design, maintain, and administer Domain/Forest trusts and replication.
• PowerShell scripting and AD troubleshooting proficiency.

• Experience administering AD in global organizations; provide Tier 3 support.
• Familiarity with DNS and enterprise domain/Trust concepts.

Peraton requires a Systems Administrator to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3 EOM. This position is located at MacDill AFB in Florida.

The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.

This position is responsible for the operational management, upkeep, and continuous improvement of our Active Directory infrastructure and authentication services. You will be a key contributor to providing Tier 3 level support to our mission partners, ensuring service continuity and mission-critical capabilities.

• Design, implement, and manage Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) permissions within a multi-tenant enterprise environment.
• Maintain optimal performance and stability of the domain controller infrastructure and related servers.
• Implement advanced security measures to protect the Active Directory environment.
• Design, maintain, and administer Domain/Forest trusts and Directory/Forest/Domain replication.
• Proficiency in using Active Directory troubleshooting utilities, PowerShell scripting, and diagnostic tools
• Proficiency in Kerberos Authentication Protocols and Active Directory LDAPS/LDAP
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019 and related client operating systems
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Applications and Services.
• Basic knowledge of DNS and its role in enterprise environments.
• General understanding of the technology behind Domains and Trusts.
• Experience managing production Windows Servers used to support multiple mission-critical initiatives.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and Server 2019/2022.
• Experience administering Microsoft Active Directory 2019/2022 domains in global organizations.
• Must possess a solid understanding and experience with Kerberos Authentication Protocols and Active Directory LDAPS and/or LDAP.

• Knowledge of Microsoft operating platforms and Office applications.
• Familiarity with building, promoting, and managing multiple Domain Controllers.
