Clark Companies in Delhi, NY seeks a Site Work Estimator to join the design/construction team and help prepare detailed project cost estimates for site works. You will perform quantity take-offs, analyze plans, solicit subs, and drive value engineering opportunities to deliver accurate budgets.

The role requires a construction management degree and strong communication, with proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with AutoCAD or Insite Earthwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent preferred.
• Commercial construction knowledge/experience, particularly site work.
• Familiarity with standard site construction concepts and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed quantity take-offs by analyzing plans and specifications.
• Utilize on-screen take-off software to quantify materials.
• Prepare project budgets with minimal subcontractor assistance.
• Solicit and analyze quotations from subs and suppliers.
• Qualify and level supplier/subcontractor proposals.
• Prepare accurate, detailed estimates of construction costs.
• Analyze estimates for value engineering and cost savings.
• Communicate with clients, designers and co-workers.
