Atkinson Underground/Civil is seeking an experienced Estimator to support our operations teams. The Estimating/Preconstruction Department prepares budgets and bids for all projects and performs continuous preconstruction on awarded projects in development.
The role requires prolonged periods of desk work, occasional site visits, and the ability to lift up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 25 pounds on occasion.
Your primary workspace will be in our office with quiet to moderate noise and light. You may also be required to visit active construction sites, which have exposure to outdoor weather, louder noise and moving equipment. Safety policies and procedures will be followed at all sites.
This is a demanding, high‑performance environment. Candidates should thrive under pressure, work extended hours during critical project phases, and respond promptly to communications as needed.
