Kenco Logistics in Wilmer, TX is seeking a Site Training Coordinator to lead on-the-job training for warehouse staff and forklift operators, ensuring safe equipment use and adherence to procedures. You will maintain training records and help develop materials to support standard operations.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum 6 months experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Licensed forklift operator or ability to obtain license.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates on-the-job training for new and existing employees on warehouse operations and forklift duties.
  • Provides training on safe use of equipment and RF scanners.
  • Maintains training logs and completion checks.
  • Assists in creating and revising training materials.
  • Safely operate equipment to move products within the distribution center.
  • Load, unload, store, and pick orders; ensure accuracy and proper labeling.
  • Record production and order information; participate in inventory cycles.
  • Perform daily safety inspections and ensure SQFI/FDA/customer readiness.

Site Training Coordinator may also fill in to perform these jobs when not actively involved in training.FunctionsFacilitates on-the-job training to new, existing, and inexperienced employees on warehouse floor and forklift operation duties.Provide training on the safe use of equipment and powered industrial equipment such as RF scanners, forklifts, inventory systems,Train on operations processes and proceduresEducates on safety procedures for safe performance of job and operation of equipment.Maintain training logs and checks off training completionAssists management with the creation and revision of training materialsSafely operate Powered Industrial equipment to move products or materials for distribution such as clamp/slip sheet equipment.Load, unload, and store products and/or materialsStack and/or transport materials and products to designated areas.Pick orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded.Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.Pack orders for shipments by parcel, LTL, and TL carriers.Affix proper shipping and tracking labels to boxes and pallets.
