Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Program Lead/System Engineer to oversee system-level requirements, integration, verification, and user acceptance testing for JWICS supporting DISA customers. Responsibilities include supervising a 10-15 person team, defining requirements, planning, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure full operational deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 10+ years of experience; or 8+ years with related Master’s
• Active TS/SCI security clearance
• Current Security+ or SecurityX or equivalent DoD 8140 credentials at Systems Administrator, Intermediate level
• Experience in DoD environment data-driven ops capabilities
• 3+ years of management/supervisory experience
• 3+ years of network engineering fundamentals including virtualization
• 2+ years of project planning experience
• 2+ years of risk/change management experience
• Experience with Windows and Linux/RHEL
• Strong communication with senior leadership and stakeholders
• Ability to collaborate across disciplines

Responsibilities

• Perform supervisory duties for a 10-15 person team and manage performance
• Gather data and define requirements, develop use cases, and conduct gap analysis
• Plan and execute engineering activities, analysis, implementation, test, deployment and assessment
• Apply SE approach to planning, design, execution and sustainment
• Help define processes for hardware/software compatibility and platform tech specs
• Develop and maintain SE documentation and diagrams/models
• Identify and manage task dependencies, risks and mitigations
• Monitor and report technical variances and resolve issues impacting delivery
• Report status of product development to leads regularly
• Manage external dependencies and projected schedules
