Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift license required.
• Manlift (JLG) license and chainsaw training preferred.
• Ability to operate safely in a manufacturing setting.
• Physical ability to perform lifting and repetitive motions.

Responsibilities

• Package calcium chloride products and operate a forklift.
• Load products into rail cars and trucks.
• Maintain and clean rail switches.
• Operate fire hoses and other water-type hoses and power tools.
• Observe personnel involved in vessel entry and assist as needed.
• Perform shoveling, wheelbarrow work, and other general labor duties.
• Create or update department procedures to ensure accuracy and safety.
• Lock and tag out equipment and support safety programs.
