Job summary

Qualifications

• 21 years or older with a high school diploma or GED; will obtain Out of School Time Credential.
• Reports to Program Coordinator and Team Leader.
• Enjoyment of youth, good mental and physical health, respect for diverse cultural backgrounds, willingness to complete training requirements, and willingness to undergo regulatory checks required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provides general direction and oversight to the Adventure Club program and staff.
• Creates a safe, organized, developmentally appropriate learning environment in school settings.
• Supervises group teachers; ensures staff follow daily schedules and documentation.
• Builds positive relationships with youth, families and school personnel; plans family involvement activities.
• Monitors licensing, program policies, and quality standards; assists in weekly lesson planning and portfolio updates.
