Job description

The Regis Village Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) Supervisor is responsible to create, implement, oversee supportive services operation, property management, compliance and service delivery system, so that all operations meet the necessary requirements based on regulation, accreditation, law, public policy, and strategic direction. This position is based at our Regis Village 70 unit building, with 40 units currently occupied, 45 units are designated for the medically frail and the other 25 are designated for coordinated entry (CE). The Site Supervisor oversees the property management side of the building along with managing the programmatic aspect of the building.

* Position will be Tues-Sat – exempt but hours generally 8-4:30pm

* Must share an on call phone with other managers in the region to be on call 24/7 based on agreed frequency which may include travel to all BACS sites as needed

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Essential Functions)

Supportive services are the hallmark of this position and require a deep understanding of, and commitment to, evidence-based practices. Staff are expected to build strong therapeutic relationships through consistent engagement and the development of a therapeutic alliance with residents. Core responsibilities include care coordination; developing individualized, wraparound housing and service plans based on each resident's strengths and needs; crisis de-escalation; conflict resolution; facilitating community meetings; creating therapeutic group programming and community activity calendars; fostering meaningful resident engagement; and upholding the organization's philosophy of harm reduction, relentless engagement, and person-centered care. The role also includes supporting the health and safety of residents, providing referrals and linkages to appropriate services, and delivering comprehensive support to individuals with complex behavioral health, housing, and social service needs.

  • Supervise residnetial coordinators on 24/7 shifts who are responsible for providing therapeutic supportive services in a deeply affordable housing environment.
  • Ensure revenue generation, housing eligibility of all residents, monitoring of authorizations, supportive services case management notes.
  • Full suite site management of BACS Program, Administrative, and Residential/housing sites to include: Rent collection at minimum of 95%, intakes, discharges in collaboration with supportive services coordinator andLandlord/tenant law and regulation enactment and must have knowledge of landlord/tenant law.
  • Conducts site inspections regularly and to the Director’s schedule to ensure all facilities are well kept, welcoming, safe, and healthy and meet the BACS’ standard of welcoming and beautification.
  • Facilities and fleet management: handles maintenance tickets/coordination, supervise maintenance staff, vendors for facilities management and tracks and recommends invoice approval after checking the work is competent and completed.
  • Acts as welcoming and design specialist to ensure culturally responsive, warm, welcoming, and standardized spaces.
  • Quality Assurance: implements a quality assurance program that oversees regulations, laws, and other external requirements to assure that all services operate within and exceed standards for all property management files. Maintain and have computer sophistication to work with property management software program for a completely electronic system.
  • Lease up new sites and lease units that become vacant within 72 hours of vacancy.
  • Special projects as assigned.
  • Performs data analysis and management reporting.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS and REQUIREMENTS:
  • 2-3 years of property management of one or more properties or real estate development required.
  • 1 year of experience managing staff in a direct service, supportive housing environment
  • AA/Bachelor Degree in Real Estate Management, Law, Social Science or Business Administration preferred.
  • Knowledge of coordinated entry (CE) and HMIS
  • Position requires a valid California driver’s license, personal vehicle, and proof of personal vehicle insurance coverage. DMV printout required.
  • Bay Area Travel required
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
  • Highly competitive compensation, salary $85,000 per year, exempt.
