Job summary

The YMCA of Metropolitan Denver invites applications for a Full-Time Out-of-School Time Site Supervisor. Based in Aurora, CO, you will oversee before/after school, school breaks, and summer camps, supervise staff, ensure safety and quality, and engage families and school partners.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of youth development or related nonprofit experience; supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to inclusion and belonging with diverse communities.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • CPR/AED and First Aid certification required, or obtain within 30 days.

TIMES & DAYS - Hours available Monday - Friday. Afternoon from 3:00pm - 6:00pm, with time allocated in the middle of the day for administration and training.Make every part of the day count.We’re looking for a Full-Time Out of School Time Site Supervisor to lead our program right in the school setting.This split-shift role includes:• Before & after school programming• Midday administrative and planning time• Leading staff and creating engaging, inclusive activitiesYou’ll play a key role in helping students feel safe, supported, and inspired every day.POSITION SUMMARYUnder the direction of the Manager, the Site Supervisor, Out-of-School Time (OST) provides day-to-day leadership for high-quality before-school, after-school, school break, and summer camp programming. This position is responsible for overall site operations, staff supervision and development, participant safety, program quality, family engagement, and facility stewardship.The Site Supervisor leads a team of program staff, aides, program leads, and unit leads to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where youth can learn, grow, and belong.
