Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Site Supervisor for Life Science programs in Lawrenceville, NJ. The role focuses on safely coordinating program activities, supervising employees, and ensuring sanitation and OSHA compliance.

Responsibilities include training staff, monitoring work, and maintaining safety records. Some travel may be required. A HS diploma and 6 months to 1 year of related experience are expected; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Six months to 1-year related experience and/or training.
  • High School diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • May be required to have a valid driver’s license.
  • May be required to be Forklift Certified.

Responsibilities

  • Perform duties of employees within the program assigned.
  • Train, supervise and instruct employees in tasks, safety, policies, and procedures.
  • Coordinate and monitor work activities, recommend training and discipline.
  • Prepare written reports (pass down, weekly, or monthly).
  • Perform quality, service, and safety inspections.
  • Track equipment inventory, maintenance and repair.
  • Track supplies and maintain inventory.
  • Monitor employees for proper use of PPE to ensure safety compliance.
  • Report employee and customer issues to manager.
  • Provide recommendations for corrective action on areas needing improvement.
  • Maintain records (training, inspections, attendance, metrics).
  • Familiar with supervisor responsibilities.

Title:Site Supervisor, Life ScienceJob Description:Job OverviewThe Site Supervisor will be responsible for safely coordinating activities within the assigned program. This includes the company employees and other temporary employees engaged in the program. The Individual will inspect areas, equipment, and working conditions to ensure compliance with sanitation and OSHA regulations.Roles & ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.Perform duties of employees within the program assignedTrain, supervise and instruct employees in tasks, safety, policies, and proceduresCoordinate and monitors work activities, recommends training and disciplineWritten reports, such as pass down, weekly, or monthlyPerform quality, service, and safety inspectionsTrack equipment inventory, maintenance, and repairTrack supplies and maintain inventoryMonitor employees for proper use of personal protective equipment to assure safety complianceReport employee personnel and customer issues to managerCorrect at risk behavior immediately, then report to the manager immediatelyProvide recommendations for corrective action on areas that need improvementMaintain records, i.e., training, inspections, attendance, and metric dataFamiliar with supervisor responsibilitiesSome travel may be required for this positionQualificationTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
