Job summary

Eclipse Advantage seeks an Operations Supervisor to work closely with the Site Manager at our Sacramento client site. Lead a dynamic warehouse team, ensure safe, efficient daily operations, and strengthen customer relationships on site.

You will oversee scheduling, training, and hands-on problem solving, driving continuous improvement in productivity and safety. This role offers growth in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years supervisory experience in large inbound warehouse or distribution center environments.
  • 2-3 years of 3rd Party Logistic experience desired.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Hands-on experience with warehouse equipment and ability to pitch in with the team.
  • Demonstrated experience in maintaining safety standards and compliance.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and with minimal supervision.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

  • Form effective working relationships with warehouse staff and drivers, and manage customer relationships.
  • Maintain high safety standards through observations, incident reporting and compliance with safety protocols.
  • Oversee work procedures, prepare schedules, and expedite workflow to meet client requirements.
  • Interview, hire, and train new employees in collaboration with the Site Manager.
  • Proactively address operational challenges with innovative solutions.

Your Impact: Elevate Operations

Lead & Supervise: Directly supervise and evaluate warehouse personnel on the dock, ensuring smooth daily operations, efficient load handling, and the safe use of equipment.

Build Relationships: Quickly form effective working relationships with warehouse staff and drivers. Your ability to connect and communicate will drive team cohesion and operational success. Work closely with the customer, managing and growing the relationship.

Ensure Safety & Compliance: Maintain the highest standards of safety through observations, incident reporting, and compliance with all safety protocols. Your vigilance will ensure a safe working environment for all team members.

Operational Excellence: Oversee work procedures, prepare schedules, and expedite workflow to meet client requirements. Your focus on efficiency will enhance productivity and service quality.

Collaborate & Train: Work closely with the Site Manager to interview, hire, and train new employees. Lead training initiatives to improve employee performance and morale, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and skill development.

Problem-Solve & Innovate: Be a natural problem solver, addressing operational challenges with innovative solutions and proactive strategies to maintain seamless operations.

Your Arsenal: Skills & Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of related work and supervisory experience in large inbound warehouse or distribution center environments.
  • 2-3 years of 3rd Party Logistic experience desired.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Hands‑on experience with warehouse equipment and ability to roll up your sleeves and pitch in with the team.
  • Demonstrated experience in maintaining safety standards and compliance.

  • Forklift certification and experience preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.
