The Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for aSite Supervisor to join our growing Melbourne Team.As a Site Supervisor, you're at the heart of our projects, driving them forward with precision and enthusiasm. Your mission is to plan, execute, and complete projects on time, all while ensuring we stick to our company’s policies and procedures. You’ll be leading the charge by managing resources and being the gatekeeper of quality, ensuring your projects are meeting Renascent high standards.
Your Duties and Responsibilities:
· Team Leadership: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate on-site teams to achieve project goals and maintain high performance standards.
· Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of commercial and financial aspects of project delivery. Proficient in managing budgets, monitoring costs, and utilizing integrated management systems to ensure project profitability.
· Technical Proficiency: Excellent ability to read, interpret, and execute construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation with precision.
· Strategic Thinking: Skilled at identifying potential opportunities and risks within projects and developing proactive strategies to optimize performance and mitigate challenges.
· Exceptional Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
· Commitment to Safety: A proactive advocate for safety, consistently upholding and promoting best practices and compliance across all worksites to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
· Relationship Management: Capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and respectful work culture.
· Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities, enabling you to assess complex issues and implement effective solutions.
· Site Management Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of site management practices including value engineering, quality control, HSEQ standards, and effective communication strategies.
· Customer Focused: Demonstrated success in understanding client requirements and delivering exceptional service and project outcomes.
What you will bring to the role:
· Either a trade or tertiary education background (within the Building & Construction Industry).
· Minimum 2 years’ experience in managing sites in the capacity of Foreman or similar (preferably fitout, refurbishment, or shop fitting).
· Construction Industry Induction cardholder.
· Exceptionalinterpersonalandcommunicationskills-abilitytobuildrelationshipswithinternal&externalstakeholders.
· Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel required. Procore, Aconex, Project Centre and SignOnSite desirable.
