Job summary

Controlled Contamination Services in Elwood, KS is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee daily cleaning operations and quality programs for assigned accounts. This full-time role requires guiding staff, ensuring safety, and maintaining records.

The position supports a 6:00pm–2:30am overnight shift, with responsibilities including scheduling, training, and compliance with SOPs. Candidates should have at least 1 year in cleaning/janitorial and knowledge of safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must become familiar with cleaning chemical components and safety requirements.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Ability to learn and understand Scope of Work & Standard Operating Procedures
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees.
• Evaluates and verifies employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and techniques
• Identifies staff development and training needs and ensures that training is obtained.
• Ensures proper labor relations and conditions of employment are maintained.
• Maintains records, prepares reports, and composes correspondence relative to the work.
• All other duties as defined by supervisor.

SUMMARY

The Site Supervisor oversees the day-to-day cleaning operations and quality programs of specific accounts or group sites. A janitor supervisor has over 1 year of experience in the cleaning and/or janitorial arenas and is well-versed in safety requirements, equipment use, scheduling, and training.

SHIFT DETAILS

Monday - Friday 6:00pm - 2:30am

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
