Job summary

Nexplore USA is seeking a dependable Site Supervisor for its after-school program in New York. You will oversee daily operations, support instructors, ensure student safety and a positive learning environment for K–5 students.

You will act as the main on-site contact, help manage attendance and scheduling, and ensure programs meet Nexplore's safety and quality standards while collaborating with program leadership and school staff.

Qualifications

• Experience working with elementary school children (K–5) in after-school settings.
• 2+ years supervising, teaching, coaching, or managing youth programs preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable transportation and ability to commit to all scheduled program dates.
• Associate's degree or higher in education, child development, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily after-school program operations and ensure activities run smoothly.
• Supervise instructors teaching K–5 students in a safe, structured environment.
• Support instructors with classroom management, student engagement, and logistics.
• Manage student attendance, check-in, and dismissal procedures with accurate records.
• Serve as primary on-site contact for school staff, instructors, and program team.
• Monitor program quality and ensure adherence to schedules and procedures.
• Address student behavior and resolve day-to-day operational challenges professionally.
• Communicate attendance, staffing, incidents, and updates to the Program Success Manager.
• Arrive on time, prepare the space, and ensure safe dismissal at session end.

Help create a safe, organized, and engaging after-school experience for students!

Nexplore is looking for a dependable, energetic, and organized Site Supervisor to oversee daily after-school program operations, support instructors, and ensure students enjoy a positive and enriching learning environment.

As a Site Supervisor, you will serve as the main point of contact on-site, helping ensure programs run smoothly, students are supervised appropriately, and Nexplore's standards for safety, quality, and professionalism are consistently met.

What You'll Do

• Oversee daily after-school program operations and ensure activities run smoothly.
• Supervise Instructors are teaching students who are in grades K–5, maintaining a safe, structured, and welcoming environment.
• Support instructors with classroom management, student engagement, and program logistics.
• Manage student attendance, check-in, and dismissal procedures to ensure accurate records and safe student transitions.
• Serve as the primary on-site contact for school staff, instructors, and Nexplore's program management team.
• Monitor program quality and ensure instructors follow established schedules, procedures, and expectations.
• Address student behavior concerns and resolve day-to-day operational challenges professionally.
• Communicate regularly with your Program Success Manager regarding attendance, staffing, incidents, and program updates.
• Arrive on time, prepare the program space, and ensure all students are safely dismissed at the end of each session.

Qualifications

• Experience working with elementary school-aged children (K–5).
• Previous experience in after-school programs, education, childcare, youth development, or camp supervision.
• 2+ years of experience supervising, teaching, coaching, or managing youth programs preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and classroom management skills.
• Ability to supervise multiple activities, support instructors, and respond effectively to student needs.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable communicating with school administrators, instructors, and Nexplore team members.
• Ability to follow student safety protocols and maintain accurate attendance records.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to commit to all scheduled program dates.
• Associate's degree or higher in education, child development, or a related field preferred.
