Job summary

Moscow School District's Adventure Club seeks a Site Supervisor to oversee afterschool and summer program operations, ensuring safe, engaging activities for students.

You will supervise staff and volunteers, plan activities for K-5, coordinate with families, and handle scheduling and records.

This role requires effective communication and teamwork within a school setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with elementary school age students.

Job description

POSITION: SITE SUPERVISOR - ADVENTURE CLUB - Afterschool/Summer Program HOURS: After School Program hours: 2:45 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday - Thursday 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Friday Will be scheduled to work full days on teacher workdays and during some school breaks between the hours of 7:45 a.m.- 5:30 p.m. START DATE: As soon as possible.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervision of the day-to-day operations of the afterschool program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: direct supervision of enrolled children; provide direction and guidance to Group Leaders and volunteers; scheduling staff; plan and implement activities; use computer software for record keeping and childcare management; supply shopping; organize supplies; clean area daily; positive communications with families; assist the program director with hiring Group Leaders; train new staff; provide input on annual evaluations of Group Leaders; scheduling; promote cooperation, group cohesiveness and positive relations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience and/or desire to work with elementary school age students.
• Ability to communicate effectively. Follow written and oral instructions. Read and speak English.
• Ability to supervise staff and volunteers.
• Ability to supervise student activities for safety and aid children as needed.
• Ability to work in a team atmosphere and collaborate positively with others.
• Ability to develop, plan, and facilitate activities for kindergarten through fifth graders.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
