Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee Security Officers at a client site in Waukegan, IL. The role focuses on enforcing post orders, coordinating rounds, and maintaining a secure environment while delivering strong customer service.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• FA / CPR / AED certifications.
• Experience required.

Responsibilities

• Functions as a supervisor of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other personnel assigned to client site(s); ensure post orders are followed and rounds completed.
• Ensure required reports are filed and notify proper authorities and client in emergencies.
• Coaches and disciplines personnel as appropriate; meets with employees to document coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Trains Security Officers and other personnel; reviews post orders and assignment details with the team.
• Ensure adequate coverage of all posts and positions in conjunction with management.
• Prepares, files, and submits various reports as required.
• Inspects posts as scheduled and outlines tasks and responsibilities with subordinates.
• Meets with client representatives to provide assurance that security requirements are met and deliver quality customer service.
• May perform duties of a Security Officer in line with post orders and company policy.

Wage: $21.00/HR

The Site Supervisor helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

• Functions as a supervisor of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel assigned to one or more posts at client site(s); acts to ensure that all post orders are followed, that established rounds are completed, and that required reports are filed; notifies proper authorities and client in emergency situations.

• Coaches and disciplines personnel as appropriate; seeks advice from company management or designated representatives as appropriate; meets personally with employees and documents coaching and disciplinary actions.

• Trains Security Officers and other company personnel; reviews post orders and other details of assignments with subordinates.

• In conjunction with company management or designated representatives ensures adequate coverage of all posts and positions.
