Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Site Supervisor - Full Time at our Fort Dodge, IA location. The role oversees Security Officers and leads daily operations to maintain a safe environment for client sites.

You will ensure post orders are followed, supervise staff, coordinate coverage, and communicate with client representatives to deliver high-quality security services. Strong leadership and de-escalation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Above average computer/technology skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently and remain calm in stressful situations.
• Two years of supervisory experience and de-escalation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Functions as a supervisor of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other personnel at client sites; ensure post orders are followed, rounds completed, reports filed, and proper authorities notified in emergencies.
• Coaches and disciplines personnel; meets with employees to document actions and seeks guidance when needed.
• Trains Security Officers and staff; reviews post orders and assignment details with subordinates.
• Ensures adequate coverage of posts and positions with management or designated representatives.
• Prepares, files and submits various reports as required.
• Inspects posts and outlines tasks and responsibilities to subordinates.
• Meets with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met and to provide quality customer service.
• May perform duties of a Security Officer as needed.

What You Can Expect:

• Functions as a supervisor of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel assigned to one or more posts at client site(s); acts to ensure that all post orders are followed, that established rounds are completed, and that required reports are filed; notifies proper authorities and client in emergency situations.
• Coaches and disciplines personnel as appropriate; seeks advice from company management or designated representatives as appropriate; meets personally with employees and documents coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Trains Security Officers and other company personnel; reviews post orders and other details of assignments with subordinates.
• In conjunction with company management or designated representatives ensures adequate coverage of all posts and positions.
• Prepares, files, and submits various reports as required.
• Inspects posts as scheduled and meets with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities.
• Meets with client representatives as scheduled or as needed to provide assurance that all security requirements are being met and to provide quality customer service.
• May perform the duties of a Security Officer in accord with post orders and company policy.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• 2 years of supervisory experience.
• De-escalation experience needed.
