Job summary

Solotech is seeking a seasoned project/operations leader to manage audiovisual construction and installation teams across sites in the United States. The role focuses on delivering projects on time, coordinating schedules, ensuring safety, and maintaining excellence in client service.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of team management experience in construction or audiovisual environments, and is proficient with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• University or college diploma in management or relevant training/work experience.
• 5-7 years of experience in team management and/or construction or audiovisual.
• Experience on construction sites.
• Experience in technological fields.
• Available for flexible schedules and travel to installation sites.
• Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Ensure mobilizing leadership within your team: establish objectives, evaluate, and manage performance, identify and meet workforce needs.
• Plan training and development of your team.
• Coordinate work schedules and distribute projects, ensuring efficient project delivery.
• Carry out regular site visits.
• Collaborate with HR on employee engagement, performance management, health and safety, skills development and succession planning.
• Guide and influence the team; ensure policy and procedures are followed; resolve difficulties or unforeseen events.
• Coordinate all personnel and activities on project sites.
• Participate in information sessions when launching new projects.
• Troubleshoot and assist with installation as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to anticipate future work needs.
• Identify and eliminate health and safety risks.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of department practices.
• Ensure compliance with contract delivery deadlines.
• Perform related duties and manage expenses/receipts.
• Responsible for all materials and tools on job sites.

Your day will look like this:

Your profile:

• University or college diploma in management or any other relevant training or work experience. in a relevant field.
• 5-7 years of experience in team management and/or in the field of construction or audiovisual.
• Experience on construction sites.
• Experience in technological fields.
• Be available for flexible work schedules and travel to installation sites.
• Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrate impartiality in decision-making.
• Very good planning, organizational and coordination skills, including the ability to set priorities in a context of tight deadlines.
• Be entrepreneurial and customer service oriented (internal/external).
• Leadership and ability to mobilize work teams.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder mangement skills.
• Have a good ability to anticipate problems and find effective solutions while respecting the company's policies and operational processes.
