Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is hiring a Site Supervisor in Dixon, IL. The role oversees security staff, ensures compliance with post orders, and maintains safety across client sites.

The candidate will schedule shifts, supervise 6–8 officers, and coordinate with client contacts to deliver high-quality security services. A strong emphasis is placed on leadership, communication, and rapid decision-making in emergency situations.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• Pre-employment screening including drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Security Officers, Lead Officers, and others assigned to client sites; ensures post orders are followed, rounds completed, and reports filed.
• Oversees a staff of 6-8 officers; creates weekly schedules and keeps certifications up to date.
• Coaches and disciplines personnel; conducts meetings and documents actions.
• Trains officers and reviews post orders and assignments.
• Ensures adequate coverage of all posts and positions.
• Prepares, files, and submits required reports.
• Inspects posts and outlines tasks and responsibilities with subordinates.
• Meets with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met and provide customer service.
• May perform duties of Security Officer as needed; conducts long foot patrols, monitors cameras and access control.

Site Supervisor - Full Time

Primary Location: Dixon, IL

Wage: $24.25/HR

Schedule: Mon - Fri: 8AM - 4PM

The Site Supervisor helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect

• Functions as a supervisor of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel assigned to one or more posts at client site(s); acts to ensure that all post orders are followed, that established rounds are completed, and that required reports are filed; notifies proper authorities and client in emergency situations.
• Oversees a staff of 6 - 8 officers, creates weekly schedules, updates post orders, and ensures certifications are up to date.
• Coaches and disciplines personnel as appropriate; seeks advice from company management or designated representatives as appropriate; meets personally with employees and documents coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Trains Security Officers and other company personnel; reviews post orders and other details of assignments with subordinates.
• In conjunction with company management or designated representatives ensures adequate coverage of all posts and positions.
• Prepares, files, and submits various reports as required.
• Inspects posts as scheduled and meets with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities.
• Meets with client representatives as scheduled or as needed to provide assurance that all security requirements are being met and to provide quality customer service.
• May perform the duties of a Security Officer in accord with post orders and company policy.
• Long foot patrols, monitoring cameras, & access control duties.

Basic Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.

• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Must have at least 2 years of supervisor or management experience and experience with creating schedules.
• Security experience a plus.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
• Driver Certification.
• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed (possibly with short notice).
