Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Multi Site Security Officer for a full-time position located in Vernon Hills, IL. You must be willing to work at various sites and be available on any day with at least two shifts.

The role pays $22.00 per hour and includes training, benefits, and opportunities for growth within our nationwide network. Responsibilities include access control, patrols, incident reporting, and professional interaction with clients and guests.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification (provided).
• Customer service background preferred.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Able to interact professionally with a wide range of individuals.
• Attention to detail and vigilance during shifts.
• Willing to undergo Securitas pre-employment screening (drug screen and background).

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation on site.
• Perform access control at security entrances/exits.
• Conduct patrols inside and outside client premises in various weather conditions.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues or suspicious activity.
• Protect evidence or scene of incident for accidents or investigations.
• Set up barriers/signage and provide directions as needed.
• Carry out duties at assigned site as required.

What Your Day May Look Like

Position Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification needed (provided).

• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout the shift.
