Job summary

Qualifications

Job description

Project Site Supervisor

Plum’s Project Supervisor is tasked with providing on-site operational and technical support using their knowledge of natural gas equipment and large scale industrial projects. The Project Supervisor collaborates with customers, vendors, and other parties on site to stage equipment, perform mechanical repairs, and will troubleshoot operational issues with natural gas equipment, among other duties. They are the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance onsite to ensure proper commissioning and operation of the Company’s equipment. Extensive travel may be required, depending on home location.

This position will require up to 70% travel regionally to customer sites. Average of 20 days a month onsite.

Technical Services & Equipment Maintenance

• Provide technical service and customer support in the field, including setup, mobilization/demobilization and operational support & maintenance of natural gas equipment, including pressure regulations systems, line heaters, gas conditioning equipment, and other equipment as needed.
• Be the main point of contact with customers and site supervisors, providing status updates and managing change order requests and site updates.
• Tracking and communicating delivery timelines and installation dates with customers and internal teams.
• Perform equipment checks and preventative maintenance on natural gas equipment.
• Monitor operating equipment use Scada telemetry systems to identify performance issues.
• Collaborate with the operational and technical support team to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
• Identify and maintain spare parts and equipment inventory for given projects.
• Keep detailed time sheets and work orders to ensure accurate billing to customers.
• Document service and maintenance activities, including service reports, parts usage, and equipment records.
• Other duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ability and willingness to travel up to 100% of the time or more.
• Complete all mandatory safety training and adhere to the Company’s Health & Safety Program.
• Provide technical training and guidance to clients on equipment operation and maintenance.

Education

• High school diploma or GED, or 5+ years of relevant work experience, required.
• Associate’s degree in engineering technology or a related field a plus.

Certifications And Licenses

• Safety certification training will be provided upon hire:
  • Safe Land
  • H2S for Oil &Gas
  • CPR, AED, First Aid
  • Handling Hazardous Materials
• Valid state-issued driver’s license, required.

Experience

• Five (5) or more years of experience working with natural gas equipment; and
• Proven experience as a Project Supervisor or in a related role on large industrial sites.
