About the Role

Pay: $30-$40 per hour | Travel: 50-75%

This is a hands-on, physically demanding outdoor field role, not a desk job. Work includes equipment setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting at natural gas facilities, industrial locations, and construction sites. Home-based between assignments means working from home between field assignments; it does not mean the job is performed entirely remotely.

We are seeking a hands-on Natural Gas Field Specialist to support the installation, operation, monitoring, maintenance, and demobilisation of natural gas equipment at customer project sites. You do not need to be an engineer or hold a college degree. A relevant technical or engineering degree is preferred.

Schedule and Travel

This position works rotating 12-hour day and night shifts as part of a team providing 24-hour coverage, seven days a week, 365 days a year. The rotation varies by assignment. Assigned shifts may include weekends and holidays. Year-round coverage is shared among the team; it does not mean one employee works every day.

The role requires 50-75% travel and is home-based between field assignments. Project locations and assignment durations vary with customer needs.

  • Identify and promptly report abnormal conditions, alarms, leaks, equipment problems, and changing site conditions.
  • Provide clear shift handovers so incoming personnel understand equipment status and outstanding issues.
  • Coordinate with BPS engineers, technicians, customers, and contractors.
  • Participate in job safety planning and follow applicable site procedures and personal protective equipment requirements.
