Job summary

Security Engineers, Inc. is seeking a SITE SUPERVISOR to lead a team of security officers across our Alabama operations.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of supervisory security experience and a strong work ethic, with willingness to work on-site during scheduled hours. Responsibilities include staffing, coordinating with project managers and clients, training, maintaining post instructions, and ensuring equipment readiness.

Qualifications

• 3+ years security experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• US citizen or eligible to work in the US.
• No felony or misdemeanor convictions involving moral turpitude.
• Must pass drug screening.
• Winteam Software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Report to Major Project Manager and Assistant Manager and provide updates and reports as required.
• Be on-site during scheduled hours.
• Cover open positions during short staffing or emergencies.
• Administers guard management software to all locations.
• Manage scheduling of all employees.
• Attend regular meetings with the client, supervisors, and subordinates.
• Maintain security post instructions and other required records.
• Deliver training where/when applicable.
• Ensure security and safety equipment is in good working condition.
• Interview and hire employees.
• Enforce policies and corrective actions as needed.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Position Summary:

Security Engineers is actively seeking a SITE SUPERVISOR interested in a career in the private security industry. We are looking for an individual with integrity and a strong work ethic that wants to be part of and work in a team environment. Previous military, law enforcement and/or 3+ years security with supervisory experience for priority hiring.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Report to Major Project Manager and Assistant Manager and provide updates and reports as required.
• Required to be on-site during scheduled hours.
• Ability and willingness to cover open positions during short staffing or for emergency call-offs.
• Administers guard management software to all locations.
• Manage scheduling of all employees.
• Attend regular/routine meetings with the client, supervisors, and subordinates.
• Maintains security post instructions and other required records.
• Deliver training where/when applicable.
• Ensure all security and safety equipment is in good working condition.
• Conduct Interviews and hire employees.
• Ensure policies and procedures are adhered to by all assigned employees and give corrective action (On the Spot, PMRs, PIPs) where appropriate.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Experience Qualifications:

• Previous security experience (3+ years) preferred.
• Must be a US citizen or present valid right to work paperwork.
• Have no felony convictions, no convictions for misdemeanors involving moral turpitude (verified by fingerprint based criminal background check).
• Have a telephone or other reliable means of communication.
• Have a high school education or suitable equivalent.
• Must pass drug screening.
• Experience with Winteam Software preferred.

Education Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Uncommon Physical Requirements:

• Perform routine lengthy foot patrols across varying terrain.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time without assistance.
• Ability to step up and down from trucks to perform inspections.
• Ability to work in both indoors and outdoors environments.
