The Cornerstone Management Services Site Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all of the activities of construction sites within a particular construction zone, including communicating project needs to site subcontractors and project team. The Superintendent is tasked with ensuring projects stay on schedule, within budget, safely, and to plan/scope. Duties include coordinating subcontractors, performing quality control, completing daily toolbox talks, ensuring site safety, managing onsite materials, and providing onsite direction to the production team/teams.
Project Oversight
- Compile estimating data, including submittals, RFIs, process/product details, and unit measurements for installation teams.
- Conduct take-offs using both drone data and plan sets.
- Create and maintain the original Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Develop and manage a Work in Process (WIP) schedule for estimating - gantt charts in Procore.
- Work with the construction manager to track and compare Estimates vs. Actuals data.
- Prepare project close-out documents for Sales and Operations teams.
- Create and compile Change Orders (CO) and plan version updates for Construction Managers (CMs).
- Maintain PROCORE area location maps.
- Ensure accuracy and clarity in all project details – QA/QC
- Uphold CMS/EMS Safety Standards on all projects.
Communications
- Prepare and present information for weekly check-ins with Sales, R&D, and Operations teams.
- Update Key Point Indicators (KPIs) to ensure accurate data transfer from Estimating to Operations teams.
- Engage professionally with clients during site visits, representing CMS well.
- Participate in all team meetings and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Compile and hand off warranty information to the Sales team.
- Conduct 3D scanning and process data using Pix4D, transferring results into Excel templates.
- Ensure proper documentation and organization of estimating and project data.
- Keep and maintain (via electronic means) accurate records of hours worked each day.
- Approve all timesheets of direct reports prior to submitting them to the Office Administrator
