Job summary

Pretium Packaging is seeking an on-site Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) leader at the St. Charles, Illinois facility to reduce risk, ensure compliance, and foster a proactive safety culture.

You will partner with operations, maintenance, engineering, and plant leadership to drive safety initiatives and regulatory adherence. You will review safety events, engage teams on the floor, and lead incident investigations, OSHA logging, and environmental reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing.
• OSHA 30 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own site safety programs, audits, investigations, and corrective/preventive actions.
• Develop and deliver onboarding and ongoing safety training.
• Maintain OSHA recordkeeping (e.g., 300/301) and stay current with regulatory updates.

With 17 manufacturing sites across North America, we deliver high-quality, innovative rigid packaging solutions to brand owners throughout the U.S. and Canada.A Day in the RoleYou’ll start by reviewing prior-shift safety events and metrics, then walk the floor to engage teams at molding cells, robotics stations, and material handling areas. Your morning might include a lockout/tagout refresher with a new hire group, followed by closing out an incident investigation and updating OSHA logs.
