Job summary

Nippon Sanso Matheson on-site service team is seeking personnel to execute and manage customer site operations for medical and specialty gas needs at the Newark, CA location. You will coordinate deliveries, perform equipment changes, manage inventory, and respond to alarms around the clock.

The role requires adherence to safety protocols, daily checks, and collaboration with customer and Matheson management to ensure uninterrupted gas supply and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience performing daily checks of gas, liquid, and chemical locations.
• Ability to forecast inventory needs and process orders.
• Familiarity with safety programs for cryogenic liquids and compressed gases.
• Experience unloading/loading with carts, pallet jacks or forklifts.
• Willingness to participate in Emergency Response Team duties.

Responsibilities

• Execute customer and company policies to meet operational requirements.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow safety protocols.
• Perform daily checks of gas, liquid, and chemical locations requiring monitoring.
• Coordinate deliveries to all use points at the customer site.
• Unload/load trucks using carts, pallet jacks, or forklifts.
• Perform cylinder or system chemical changes as contracted with the customer.
• Provide inventory management through forecasting needs and processing orders.
• Respond to gas and liquid alarms 24 hours a day.
• Replace products or coordinate repairs to ensure uninterrupted supply.
• Implement and maintain safety programs, operating records, and PM schedules.
• Keep equipment maintenance database and procedures up to date.
• Suggest improvements to gas and chemical equipment and related systems.
• Maintain professional communications with customer and management.
• Provide safety training for customer personnel on cryogenic liquids and gases.
• Manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste as required.
• Act as an Emergency Response Team member as needed.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.

Job Summary
To implement, execute and then
meet and exceed expectations of the Nippon Sanso Matheson on-site service
team's operational responsibility of providing site services to the customer's
medical & specialty gas needs.
Essential Functions
Execute the customer's & Nippon Sanso Matheson policies and procedures to meet the operational requirements of customer.
Maintain a safe and cleanly work environment in addition to following all workplace safety protocols in performing required work.
Perform daily check of all gas, liquid, and chemical locations currently identified as needing daily monitoring.
Coordinate deliveries to all use points at customer location.
Unload/load trucks as required using carts, pallet jacks, or forklifts.
Perform cylinder or system chemical changes if required in contract with customer.
Provide inventory management through forecasting the needs of the specific locations and processing all orders to maintain proper inventory in addition to processing orders sent from authorized users.
Respond to all gas and liquid alarms needs 24 hours a day.
Replace products or coordinate repairs to systems as needed to ensure uninterrupted supply to the end users at the customer site.
Implement and maintain technical and safety programs, operating records and documentation, and manage the sites PM program.
Keep/maintain the equipment maintenance database, schedules, and keep procedures up to date.
Recommend, support, and implement improvements to all gas & chemical equipment and related systems new or existing.
Assure timely communications and reports with all team members (customer, and MATHESON management).
Maintain a high level of professionalism while continuing to gain specialized education and training.
Safety training for customer personnel in the safe handling of cryogenic liquids and compressed gases.
Manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste, as required.
Member of Emergency Response Team, as required.
