Job summary

INEOS Pigments in Ashtabula, OH is seeking a Site Services Coordinator to assist the General Services Supervisor in coordinating contracted site services, monitoring contractor safety, and ensuring work is completed on time and within budget. This salaried, day-shift role involves planning daily workloads, writing permits, managing MS2 backlog, and reporting KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Complete Action Items on time
• Complete computer-based training on time
• Turn Notifications into Work Orders
• Plan and execute the workload on a daily basis
• Write GWP’s, Confined Space, Hot Work and Excavation Permits
• Review Site Services backlog and keep to a minimum
• Meet weekly with PMCs and Maintenance Supervisors to align on prioritization of work
• Audit and oversee Scaffolding, Insulation, and General Contracting
• Verify safe execution of contracted work
• Supervise Site Services Projects at or under budget and on time
• Attend scheduling meetings on scaffolding and insulation work
• Monitor contractor costs and procurement input on contracts
• Ensure risk assessments for all contractors
• Support reporting for site services spending forecast
• Manage backlog for contractors
• Develop and report KPIs
• Monitor inventory for Scaffolding and Insulation supplies
• Review scope of work for general contracts (Building Repairs, Roofs, etc.)
• All other duties as assigned

Site Services Coordinator role

The purpose of the Site Services Coordinator role is to work with the General Services Supervisor in the coordination and oversight of contracted site services at the Ashtabula Complex. This includes monitoring contractor safety, job preparation, and execution of the work in a timely manner, at or under budgeted costs. The Site Services Coordinator will be directly responsible for the results for a specific group of contractors, as designated. It is classified as a Safety Critical role.

Key job responsibilities

• Complete Action Items on time
• Complete computer-based training on time
• Turn Notifications into Work Orders
• Plan and execute the workload on a daily basis
• Write GWP’s, Confined Space, Hot Work and Excavation Permits
• Review Site Services (MS2) backlog and keep to a minimum
• Meet weekly with PMC’s, Maintenance Supervisors, etc. to align on prioritization of work
• Business Objectives Coordination, Audit and Oversight of Scaffolding, Insulation, and Misc. General Contracting
• Verify safe execution of specific contracted work and tasks within area of responsibility
• Supervise & audit specific Site Services Projects at or under budget and on time
• Supervise and Audit Site Services Contractors performing work on MS2 Backlog
• Attend scheduling meetings on scaffolding and insulation work
• Monitor closely and drive excellence in contractor costs
• Work closely with Procurement with input on contractor contract development
• Ensure all contractors are performing risk assessments
• Support the reporting for yearly, monthly, and weekly site services spending forecast for the contractors reporting to you
• Manage/monitor backlog of work for your specific contractors
• Key Performance Indicators - develop, monitor, and report monthly on progress, contractors under your guidance (spending, backlog, etc.)
• Monitor inventory for Scaffolding and Insulation supplies
• Responsible for reviewing scope of work and managing the general contract work in following areas: (Building Repairs) (Roof leaks, Gutters, Down Spouts and Siding), (Man Door Repairs and Replacements), (Railroad Inspections and Repairs), (Excavations – Piping, Catch Basins, Drainage Issues, Fire Hydrant Repairs), (Concrete Work – Containment’s, Trenches, Acid Proofing), (Office Remodeling), (Concrete Block Repair)
• All other duties as assigned

About You

You should possess:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Possess a minimum of five (5) years of related experience in either a manufacturing, project, or planning environment
• Knowledge of managing contracts
• Demonstration of managing people
• Functionality with various computer programs, or ability to learn Microsoft Office Suite and SAP

This is a salaried non-exempt, typically a day shift position.
