Job summary

Bowhead seeks a Site Security Manager / SSR to support operations in Colorado Springs, CO. You will serve as the principal on-site manager, liaison with the customer, and oversee SCI security procedures and SCIF access.

The role requires management of SCI clearance processes, development of SOPs, and coordination of 24/7 operations with US government security standards. A Top Secret clearance and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering or business-related field.
• 25 years of experience (no degree needed) with at least 10 years as Project Manager.
• 10 years of general experience with at least 6 years specialized in security.
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing Government contracts.
• Experience as an on-site SSR with SCI/SCIF security duties is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the principal on-site manager and customer liaison, schedules meetings and reports.
• Advises on project risks, issues, and their resolution.
• Authorized approving official for badge/PIN access to the SCIF.
• Administers SCI security program and SOPs for proper protection and dissemination.
• Certifies SCI visitor clearances and manages cognizance documentation.
