Responsibilities

The Site Security Manager (SSM) oversees security aspects of project planning, design, and construction, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements for facility accreditation. Responsibilities include developing and implementing security plans, conducting inspections, managing security staff, and ensuring adherence to policies such as NISPOM, ICD, UFCs, and SAP policies. The SSM also evaluates security vulnerabilities, briefs personnel, and develops accreditation documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 1 year of related experience or 5 years of experience without a degree.
• Experience with physical security, personnel management, or construction management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills.
• Additional safety training and certifications required within specified timeframes.
• Desired: Industry certifications such as Site Security Manager, Construction Surveillance Technician, or Blueprint Reading.
