Duties and Responsibilities

The Site Security Manager (SSM) oversees security aspects of project planning, design, and construction, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements for facility accreditation. Responsibilities include:

• Developing security plans and documentation, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with security standards.
• Collaborating with construction teams to secure the site and materials.
• Ensuring adherence to NISPOM, ICD, UFCs, and SAP policies.
• Providing security oversight and training personnel.
• Preparing accreditation documentation and conducting threat assessments for SCIFs and SAP facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 1 year of related experience or 5 years of experience without a degree.
• Experience with physical security, personnel management, or construction management.
• Security certifications such as SFPC, SAPPC, SPSC, etc., are preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong communication skills.
• Ability to pass required training and certifications within specified timeframes.
