Job summary

GardaWorld Security in Milpitas, CA is seeking an Assistant Security Director to oversee daily site operations, supervise security personnel, and coordinate with clients to ensure safety and compliance. You will manage staff schedules, perform inspections, and handle incidents with a focus on high service standards.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in a supervisory security role, a valid state security license, CPR/AED/First Aid, and strong computer skills (Windows 10, Word, Excel).

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• High school education or GED.
• 2-4 years in a Supervisory role.
• 2-4 years hands-on with Windows 10, MS Word, Excel, Email, typing.
• WinTeam, Kronos, or similar scheduling/payroll experience.
• Prior Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience preferred.
• State security license.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site's schedule, payroll, attendance, guard performance and vehicle maintenance.
• Coach, counsel and issue corrective action as needed.
• Work with Site Client and Client Service Manager to ensure operational satisfaction.
• Provide training to new and current guards on monthly training and client protocols.
• Ensure guards clock in/out accurately.
• Manage front desk duties, vendor/contractor check-in, and utilize tech tools.
• Deliver rapid response in critical situations and report findings.
• Maintain detailed reports and enforce client procedures and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned and add responsibilities as needed.
