Job Title: Site Safety Supervisor

Under the direction of the Safety Director, performs duties to ensure employee safety and compliance with workplace safety guidelines. Works closely with Project Managers, Field Manpower, and Foremen. Travel to branch offices, jobsites, and customer facilities is required.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities

1. Conduct job site visits 3-4 days per week.
2. Travel up to 70% of the week, locations determined with Safety Manager.
3. Coordinate testing, sampling, and other activities with third parties.
4. Assist in employee safety training.
5. Coordinate accident investigations and reporting.
6. Investigate and correct safety violations.
7. Conduct safety observations, inspections, and safety inspections of company vehicles.
8. Collaborate with Project Managers and Field Personnel on safety concerns.
9. Ensure adequate PPE levels and determine PPE needs and training.
10. Develop and conduct toolbox talks and safety plans.
11. Promote a zero-incident safety culture.
12. Understand claims management and workers’ compensation reporting.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required. 3+ years safety experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience considered. Safety certifications (GSP, CHST, CSP) are a plus. Ability to obtain OSHA 500 certification. Capable of balancing teamwork and safety compliance.

Computer Skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
