Job summary

Price Industries Inc. seeks a Site Safety Coordinator to serve as a visible floor-level partner promoting safe work habits and regulatory compliance. You will help employees and Operations recognize hazards, apply approved safeguards and verify their effectiveness in daily activities.

This developmental role emphasizes risk recognition, training support, incident learning and cross-functional collaboration to build technical judgment and future EHS leadership capability across shifts.

Qualifications

• Education and practical experience in occupational safety.
• Foundational knowledge of safety principles and site hazards.
• Clear communication, data interpretation and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Conduct floor observations, inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and improvement opportunities.
• Engage employees and supervisors to understand work as performed and verify improvements.
• Support safety huddles, committees and hazard reporting with practical coaching.
• Respond to injuries, near misses and high potential events; assist with investigations and corrective actions.
• Deliver onboarding, orientation and shift-level safety training; coordinate specialized training as needed.
• Maintain records in approved systems and assist with regulatory postings and audit readiness.
• Support programs for machine safety, lockout/tagout, ergonomics and hazard controls; collaborate with Maintenance and Operations.
• Coordinate return-to-work and wellness-related accommodations with HR and claims partners.
