Ameresco, Inc. is seeking a Site Safety and Health Officer / Quality Control Manager for a two-year VA project in Yuma, Arizona. The role focuses on safety planning, compliance, audits, and corrective actions to maintain a safe work environment.

You will lead safety training, manage incident investigations, and ensure OSHA/EM385-1-1 standards across the site while fostering a strong safety culture among project personnel.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Occupational Safety & Health Engineering or similar Field.
• Minimum of 5 years construction industry safety experience on similar projects.
• Average of at least 24 hours of formal safety training each year for the past 5 years with training for competent person status in Excavation, Scaffolding, Fall protection, Hazardous energy, Confined space, Health hazard recognition and control.

Responsabilités

• Prepare the Site-Specific Safety Plans and Activity Hazard Analysis for assigned projects.
• Ensure compliance to all Safety Policies and adopted Standards.
• Ensure PPE meets EM 385-1-1 requirements and employees are trained.
• Conduct Safety Audits of project sites and follow-up inspections.
