Job summary

APi Inc. in New Brighton, MN seeks a Site Safety Professional to support the Corporate Safety Director and Project Superintendent by implementing and monitoring field safety programs, policies, and OSHA compliance.

Responsibilities include conducting training on OSHA regulations, performing job-site analyses, daily inspections, documenting findings, investigations, and managing safety records; qualified candidates should be able to communicate effectively and ensure a safe work environment.

Salary: 69,400.00 - 104,000.00 USD / YEAR

Insupport of the Corporate Safety Directorand the Project Superintendent; implements,manages,and monitorsfieldsafety programs, policies, and procedures that meet OSHAcompany, project,and other applicable requirements. Evaluates thesite’sprocedures,facilities,and equipment by conducting inspections to identify unsafe conditions and to implement safeguards and solutions. Ensures thesitecompanywith all current safety regulations and that all employees are aware of safety requirements and are prepared to follow safety procedures. Collects data and reports on all safety and accident events.

  • Develop and conduct trainings on OSHA regulations and company policies.
  • Perform job site analysis, determine employee exposure, and institute safe work procedures.
  • Conduct daily safety inspections, document findings, and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain all site required documentation related to safety issues,i.e.,accident reports, inspection reports , training logs.
  • Conduct accident investigations and facilitate thereturn-to-workprogram.
  • Administrate the company’s Substance Abuse Program.
  • Write various correspondences to customers & owners on matters of importance per direction of project leadership.
