Liberty Tire Recycling, LLC is seeking a hands‑on Manager, Safety at our Midlothian, TX site to reduce injuries, strengthen compliance, and improve safety performance. The role blends field presence with data‑driven decision making, coaching, training, and practical risk reduction.

The Safety Manager acts as a site SME for safety programs, partnering with leadership to embed safe work methods, drive audits, and sustain corrective actions across operations with an hourly workforce.

Formación

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret safety data and convert findings into action.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA requirements and practical safety management in industrial, production, transportation, logistics, or recycling environments.
• Experience managing safety performance through KPIs, audits, observations, investigations, corrective actions, training, and operating reviews.
• Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with site leadership, frontline leaders, hourly employees, maintenance, transportation, and contractors.
• Strong interpersonal, coaching, training, presentation, and written communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, field‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced industrial environment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead site injury‑reduction strategies with operating leadership, focusing on hourly employees' safety.
• Establish, monitor, and improve leading and lagging safety indicators (TRIR, DART, near misses, audits, observations).
• Analyze incident, audit, observation, ergonomic, and operating data to identify trends and convert findings into actions.
• Lead incident and near‑miss investigations, confirm root causes, and ensure corrective actions are sustained.
• Maintain incident records, notifications, investigation docs, and regulatory information; escalate significant issues.
• Conduct routine audits and field observations to verify OSHA compliance and site controls.
• Assess risks and recommend engineering, administrative, and work‑practice controls.
• Partner with site leaders to integrate safe work methods into daily plans and standard work.
• Deliver targeted safety training and coach leaders on hazard recognition and accountability.
• Report safety performance, unresolved risks, and corrective actions through operating reviews.
• Exercise stop‑work authority when imminent danger or serious exposure exists; verify controls before resuming work.
• Build site safety capability through field support, cross‑training, and repeatable tools.
