Liberty Tire Recycling is seeking a Production Operator I for our Midlothian, TX facility. This role involves setting up, operating, and monitoring production equipment on the Dock and TDF line, with a focus on safety and quality.

You will perform basic machine operations, adjustments, preventive maintenance, and quality checks while maintaining a clean, safe work environment; prior tire recycling or manufacturing experience is a plus.

Qualificações

• Ability to learn and operate production equipment safely.
• Ability to perform basic operator‑level mechanical adjustments.
• Ability to follow work instructions, safety rules, and production procedures.
• Ability to regularly lift, twist, and stack up to 50 pounds with assistance as needed.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and support production goals.

Responsabilidades

• Perform equipment set‑up for assigned production lines and machines.
• Perform general machine operations in support of tire recycling production.
• Operate equipment such as shredder, granulator and metal detection equipment.
• Monitor material flow and equipment performance to support safe production.
• Perform operator‑level machine adjustments as needed.
• Tighten knives and perform minor mechanical adjustments.
• Clear clogged conveyance or material flow issues following safety procedures.
• Perform operator‑level preventive maintenance as trained and scheduled.
• Identify and remove out‑of‑spec product from the production line.
• Perform basic quality checks and maintain clean work areas.
• Follow safety requirements including PPE and LOTO procedures.
