Factor_, a brand of HelloFresh, is seeking a Site Safety Manager! As a Site Safety Manager, you will collaborate with the Regional Senior Manager of Safety to lead workplace safety initiatives across our US Operations. Your role involves developing and managing safety programs and teams to promote our vision, inspire change, enhance asset protection, and ensure a safe environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring OSHA compliance within the distribution center, including PITs, safety training, Lockout/Tagout, Machine Guarding, and Chemical Safety, along with recordkeeping and reporting.
• Providing technical expertise in developing EHS controls, programs, and hazard control strategies.
• Overseeing emergency response activities and managing the emergency response team.
• Leading safety team members and assisting in post-accident root cause analysis.
• Serving as the safety and security subject matter expert for management.
• Participating in OSHA inspections and investigations.
• Chairing the Safety Committee to improve building conditions and work practices.
• Analyzing safety data to identify trends and develop corrective actions.
• Ensuring contractors and visitors adhere to safety policies.
• Conducting Job Safety Analyses and promoting safe forklift operations.
• Developing safety training materials and engagement initiatives.
• Supporting inventory shrinkage investigations and other departmental needs.
• Applying continuous improvement principles to enhance processes and results.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of occupational safety experience, preferably in manufacturing/industrial EHS.
• Four-year degree in business, safety, or related field.
• CSP, GSP, or ASP certification through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.
• Expertise in OSHA compliance, especially with PITs and Lockout/Tagout.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to influence at all levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google apps.
