Job summary

Nycom, a leading Laboratory Construction firm, seeks a Safety Coordinator to enhance workplace safety on projects across the Mid-Atlantic. You will plan health and safety programs, train supervisors, and present safety sessions, fostering a culture of safety throughout the organization.

Responsibilities include ensuring OSHA compliance, conducting risk assessments, maintaining job-specific safety paperwork, and reviewing activities for improvements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the construction industry, processes, and terminology.
• Understanding of OSHA guidelines and local safety regulations.
• Familiarity with tools, machines and equipment used in construction.
