Job summary

Nycom is hiring a Safety Coordinator to enhance workplace safety within a laboratory construction environment. The role focuses on planning health and safety programs, enforcing standards, and educating employees across the organization.

You will lead safety training sessions, prepare job-specific safety paperwork, ensure OSHA and state compliance, and perform risk assessments. Travel is required with regular in-person attendance.

Qualifications

  • Knowledgeable about the construction industry terminology.

  • Understanding of OSHA guidelines and local regulations.
  • Familiarity with tools and equipment used in the workplace.

  • Able to pass pre-employment checks including background and drug testing.

Job description

A Safety Coordinator, or Safety Specialist, helps improve the overall safety of the workplace. Their duties include assessing safety, enforcing safety standards and educating employees.

Duties
