Kimmel & Associates is seeking a Site Safety Specialist to support construction operations in the Portland, Oregon market. You will promote a strong safety culture, ensure OSHA/regulatory compliance, and help project teams identify and mitigate jobsite risks.

Ideal candidates will work hands‑on with field personnel, subcontractors, and project leadership, bringing practical, solutions‑oriented approaches to construction safety. Local travel to active sites is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction safety experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices.
• Experience conducting jobsite inspections, training, and incident investigations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with field employees, subcontractors, and management.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to identify hazards and develop practical solutions.
• OSHA 30 and/or additional safety certifications preferred.
• Construction‑related safety degree or professional certification is a plus.
• Ability to travel locally to active project sites as needed.
