Job summary

Ameresco, Inc. in Georgia is seeking an experienced Site Safety Manager to oversee daily construction and project operations on Veterans Medical Center and related DoD projects.

You will develop site safety plans, ensure OSHA/EPA compliance, lead audits and trainings, and drive a positive safety culture across Augusta and Atlanta deployments. Requirements include EM-385, First Aid/CPR/AED, and 5+ years in safety management with driving license and willing to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Health, Engineering or related discipline or 5+ years of related experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial, government, or industrial safety management.
• EM-385 Certification.
• Current First Aid, CPR, OSHA, 30-hour Construction Safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Site-Specific Safety Plans and Activity Hazard Analysis for projects.
• Ensure compliance with Safety Policies and adopted Standards and OSHA/EPA requirements.
• Conduct safety audits and project safety inspections.
• Lead safety trainings for project personnel.
• Develop and implement Corrective Action Plans.
• Lead incident/accident investigations.
• Maintain safety certifications and report on safety activities.
