Job summary

Acuren is seeking a Site Safety Lead to provide direction on site safety, regulatory compliance, training, and risk management specific to the NDT industry. You will enforce safety practices, lead investigations, and collaborate with clients to maintain high safety standards.

Minimum 5 years of field safety experience in petrochemical/mining contexts, OSHA/NDT knowledge, and strong communication skills are essential. The role is on-site in Freeport, TX with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement: OSHA 30hr General Industry Card.
• CHST, COSM, and COSS certs reinforce leadership in safety programs.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards applied to NDT environments.

Responsibilities

• Upholds and promotes safety ethics, integrity, and compliance.
• Develops a safety culture and communicates hazards to all staff.
• Ensures hazard assessments are conducted and risks are minimized.
• Leads incident investigations and communicates lessons learned.
• Provides safety training and liaises with client safety personnel.
