Job summary

Sargent Electric is seeking a Site Safety Coordinator to manage the health and safety program across project sites. The role involves delivering safety training, supporting project leadership, and enforcing a high-quality safety program to prevent injuries.

Occasional travel to project locations and overnight stays may be required to support Safety Operations. The candidate will ensure compliance with OSHA and industry standards, collaborate with safety professionals, and develop corrective

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
1-3+ years of field safety experience or similar role.
Must pass all pre-employment testing (including background, driving record, BAC, drug, site security).
Experience in industrial and commercial fields; electrical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide general safety training to site personnel and maintain training records.
Apply knowledge of OSHA, ASTM, ANSI, and NESC standards.
Investigate incidents and assist site leadership with corrective actions.
Coordinate with safety professionals to review incidents and prevention measures.
Develop Job Hazard Analyses and mitigation strategies.
Lead toolbox talks and safety briefings with crews.
Onboard new employees and conduct orientation and training.
