Job summary

Fisk Electric Company is seeking a Safety Manager to lead safety across our California Division, based in Los Angeles. You will enforce Fisk’s Health and Safety programs in alignment with project plans, report to the California General Manager and Corporate Safety Director, and drive safety performance on our electrical construction sites.

The role requires a decade of safety experience in construction, strong electrical safety expertise, and the ability to train and mentor field crews.

Qualifications

• 10 years of progressive safety experience in construction with emphasis in electrical safety
• OSHA-500 certification is required
• CPR/First Aid certification current
• Strong knowledge of NFPA-70E electrical safety standards
• Experience training field crews and conducting toolbox talks
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to manage multiple tasks

Responsibilities

• Provide onboarding and safety orientation for new employees
• Develop and maintain training certifications; manage electronic safety training files
• Monitor safety across all sites; conduct workplace safety audits
• Lead toolbox talks and safety stand-downs as needed
• Manage electrical PPE program and compliance with company policies
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Assist with safety plans, incident investigations, and return-to-work processes
• Provide in-person safety training on confined spaces, electrical safety, fall protection and more
• Maintain OSHA 300 logs and related records
